We went to eat at this place yesterday. It was delicious! Eating in there was like a flashback to the 50's! I felt like I should have put on a poodle skirt or something!

ahh! I always forget to cross post over here. I'm so sorry...

That's how I feel at the moment. Ask me in a month exactly and you'll get a different answer.(That's when we're moving to NM! It's going to be so hectic!)What the heck is up with the spam coming into my inbox from Vox? It's getting a bit annoying now... AUGH!
I'm getting spam from THIS IDIOT.
So this past weekend, Hubby suggested we go rent some movies. I thought that was a great idea. I’d been wanting to see what new releases they had. Of course, almost ALL the new releases are OUT. Duh! It was the weekend! I walked around the whole place and only found one movie that caught my attention. I read what the movie was about and took it. I ran into my hubby a few minutes later at another aisle and much to my surprise he had about 5 movies in his hand. What the!? Is he serious? Dude…. I told him, “Dang! That’s a lot of movies!” “I know, I can’t make up my mind. They all look good…”, he said. We ended up taking them all. Gah! NOT a good idea. Took us all this week to finish seeing them. And only 2 were REALLY good. My pick and one of his. LOL! Now that I’m a mommy, I can’t sit and watch a movie without interruptions like I used to. Even sitting through one is a hassle cause I gotta tend to the baby in between or just not pay attention to the movie for a good 10 minutes while I play with her and stuff… I end up missing out a good chunk of it. I thought renting 2 movies was reasonable. We could watch them after the baby went down to sleep. HA! Yeah right. Not when you got 6 or 7 movies to watch before Thursday.
Anyway… today we watched “Eagle vs. Shark” (which was my pick) and OMG. I was laughing so hard through this movie. I swear… this movie was hillarious. It was kind of like a “Napolean Dynamite” movie. It was cute. I’d totally buy it. And the soundtrack was off the hook. I liked it. I’m a nerd so maybe you’ll watch it and go, “Uhhhh… that wasn’t funny.” but I recommend it! LOL Even hubby liked it! Check it out next time you go to blockbuster. It’s a SUNDANCE film. Sundance films rock. I love them. Here’s a preview.
for you! I took this picture over the weekend. The sky has been beautiful these past couple of days, I can't get over it! So I took a snapshot. When I transferred it onto my pc, I decided to play with it in Photoshop. I changed the color to pink and fell in love with the results. I used it as a wallpaper. I decided to share it with everyone because I know somebody else would love it as much as I do too. Feel free to download it and use it as a wallpaper. Pretty, huh? *grin*
While I was in Waco last month, I tried popcorn with white chocolate. Have you ever tried it? OMG, it's sooooooo delicious! I'd never had it before. But as soon as I tried it, i couldn't stop stuffing my face with it. LOL It's addicting. I've had popcorn sprinkled with sliced/round jalapenos on it but never with chocolate. Never would it have crossed my mind to try it that way. Before I left, I made sure to watch my niece make it. It's soooooo easy you guys. I make it at home every now and then. I made it for New Year's to snack on. And I am making it again tonight to snack while we watch a movie on t.v. Here's my attempt to show you how to make it. It's a synch! If I can do it, YOU can too. If you like chocolate and popcorn try this! You'll feel in heaven! LOL

Ingredients:
*2 bags of Popcorn
*Lots of white chocolate! Not sure how much you're supposed to use but I use 2 boxes of the Baker's Premium White Chocolate Baking Squares *6 individually wrapped 1 oz. squares (they coat my popcorn with white chocolate nicely!)
*A microwavable deep bowl (to melt the chocolate in)
*A LARGE popcorn container
1. Throw the popcorn to pop in the microwave. Obviously one at a time.
2. Pop one bag first. Pour into popcorn container.
3. Open ONE box of white chocolates. Unwrap all and put into microwavable bowl.
4. Put in microwave to melt. (Follow instructions on the box) About 2 minutes.
5. You can stop and stir and restart to make sure chocolate is melting evenly.
6. Once chocolate is completely melted, pour slowly some over popcorn. Stir and repeat until all chocolate has covered all popcorn.
7. Repeat process with the second bag and box of chocolates.
8. Once you're done, put the popcorn in the container into the fridge and let sit for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, take out, stir around a bit and stick back in the fridge. (This helps prevent the popcorn from getting clumped up from all the chocolate). Repeat as many times you want or feel needed.
After about 2 hours, it's ready for you to eat and enjoy!
Let me know if you tried making this. I swear it's sooooooo good. I can't wait to have some tonight.
When we were at the store doing our grocery shopping yesterday and I was in the pet section, this little guy caught my eye and I fell in love with him instantly. I had to buy him. I knew he'd be perfect for taking pics in my lightbox.
BTW, for those wondering what lighbox I'm using, it's this one. I had hubby put it together for me. I could have done it but the baby keeps me busy. It is not hard at all... if you follow the instructions carefully and have patience, you can do it!
So as you know, I got a new Camera from Hubby for Xmas. Man, I'm loving this Canon DSLR! I am still trying to learn how to use it. I mean, I have had a film SLR since 1999 but back then I wasn't into photography like I am now so I didn't care to learn how to use it. So it's pretty much new to me. I've been playing with it, taking pictures left and right. Hubby built a new lightbox for me last night because I threw away the last one. It was dirty! I grabbed Sofia's stuffed toy and took some shots. I like this one best. It's so PINK and CUTE!
